kimmel rooftop

the parti of this project is a grid sculpture. the whole proposal is based on a grid with extrusions from it. this is a reference to new york city’s grid that has shaped the city in every way imaginable. distinct from the city grid, the rooftop’s grid is created in a more organic way with the extrusions coming in random heights and shapes to create a felling of an natural landscape.
